tempo slider on midi console.

Hi all together.

This question most probably popped up before. But I can't seem to find the answer in the existing posts.
I have the bcf2000 midi console and want to dedicate 1 slider to set the beat frequency. I normally use the slider on the upper left side of the control panel (it says "speed of running script") Not sure if this naming is correct, because it corrosponds to the temposlider of the beat tool.
I'm probably overlooking something, but how can i assign this to a midi fader?

O.k.,

So I routed my sync button to the bcf2000. In that way i still have some control for changing the beat.
