Hello Christian,
Just wanted to send you a big thank you !!
I couldnt find a right spot in this forum to put this message. I was looking for a "pcdimmer user experience" kind of thread. Could be nice I guess.
Anyway, we used pcdimmer on our parade wagon again this year. Unfortionatly there was no time (again) for me to make a proper light show. But I thank you on my knees for that chaser function. With that it is fairly simple to have something going within minutes. Plans were to use a beamer again and so on. but we ran out of time again. Cool thing this year is that I used a slipring to transfer powerlines and DMX signals withing the carousel.
Anyway, we came in second place overal in the parade from 70 parade wagons. Not bad. Next year I want to go for first place
here is the result:

Thanks for pcdimmer!!
kind regards,
Maurice

For User-reports I have created a user-wiki, where everyone can add stories. Here is the link: http://www.pcdimmer.de/wiki/index.php/Anwenderberichte (or click on top of this forum on "Wiki")
thank you very much for your post,

Re: Happy ;-)
Oei, sorry Maurice,
Ik vind een Maurice eigenlijk toch beter in België passen dan in Nederland!!!
Beste Groeten,
Geert uit België !
,-)
Ps vraagje: Gebruik jij PC_dimmer in Engels of in Nederlands (of Duits)?

I was actually refering to my nickname "dutch_anykey". I know that the name "Maurice" is rather popular in Belgium and France.
I have installed pc-dimmer on multiple machines. (I use the laptop on the parade wagon, and a version on my home p.c. to fiddle around) I think I have a mix of Englisch/Dutch/German. Since I can talk and read al three (actually writing in german is something I lost practise in), I dont really pay attention what language is popping up
Maybe one thing that i miss is that if you create a new projekt, it would be nice that al things that you create/save to disk would be automatically be saved to a folder with the projekt name. In that way it is more convinient to copy a projekt from i.e. my home p.c. to my laptop. Also maybe generic created devices and so on could be copied to the default device folder and the projekt folder.
But I really have to start digging in to this forums, maybe the answer is there already.
kind regards,
Maurice
